START DATE: 
The week of March 23rd - 25th

CAPTAIN'S MEETING:
To be Determined @ Carpool in Herndon, VA. (Subject to Change)
This is a Mandatory Meeting, so if the Team Captain is unable to attend, another representative from the team must be present.

WINTER DODGEBALL KICK-OFF HAPPY HOUR: 
To Be Determined @ Carpool Herndon from 6-9 p.m. 

GAME DAYS:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Evenings

SEASON:
Each team will play 8 regular season contests.
Each contest will consist of 13 (thirteen) 5-minute games with a five minute halftime after the 5th game.
Games times will range from 7:00pm – 11:00pm.  
Playoffs will be held the week following the regular season.
The number of teams that make it to the play-offs will be determined by the FXA

FIELD LOCATIONS:
Dulles SportsPlex off Route 28
Sport & Health in Herndon

FEES:
The charge will be $600.00 per team.  
The charge for individuals will be $50.00. 
You must make payment at time of registration using PayPal.
There will be a 20% late fee for registrations after February 28, 2010

RULES:
Each team shall field 6 players, 4 Males & 2 Females.  Click on the Rules Tab for complete rulebook.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
The league fee includes 8 regular season contests (plus playoffs if you qualify), 1-2 experienced referees per court, iPod Game Music, and beer/food specials after the games!

REGISTRATION:

Registration ends on March 15, 2010.  

AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years or older to participate in Fairfax Athletics.

PLAYER WAIVER & RELEASE FORM
Before any player can participate in FXA, they must submit their online waiver.  It is the responsibilty of the Team Captain to make sure every player has completed this online waiver

FXA Registration fees are refundable only at the discretion of Fairfax Athletics.

CHEAPER TEAM / INDIVIDUAL FEES: 
Our fees are much less expensive than other sport leagues.

INDIVIDUAL (FREE AGENT) REGISTRATION AVAILABLE:
We offer individual registraion for people new to the area or players that just want to meet some new friends.

LONGER SEASON:
You are guaranteed to play 8 games, and possibly 1-3 more if your team makes the playoffs (weather and field permitting).

CONVENIENT FIELD LOCATIONS & PARKING:
Field locations will be centrally located and have plenty of parking.

GAME MUSIC:
FXA will provide an IPOD Music System that will play music during the games.  Teams are encouraged to plug in their own IPOD during their games.

QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCE REFEREES:
FXA will provide a Head Referee that understand the rules completely, and have years of dodgeball officiating experience.   

FREE TEAM WEBSITE:
Every Team will have thier own Webpage to post pictures, rosters, player stats, games schedules, etc.

GAME CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION SYSTEM:
Players will be notified via email and text message when games are cancelled.

SOCIAL SPORTS LEAGUE:
There will be scheduled activities and parties throughout the season.  EVERY MEMBER of FXA will be invited to participate, so you will meet people from the Flag Football, Soccer, Kickball, and Softball leagues.  More details will follow throughour the season.

Will your company or your teammate's company sponsor your Dodgeball team?  It never hurts to ask, right? 

Simply explain to them that they could write it off as an advertising expense.
