Fairfax Athletics (FXA) Co-ed Adult Dodgeball League
Fairfax Athletics (FXA), a nonprofit organization, is a fun and competitive Co-ed Dodgeball League in the Northern Virginia area. We offer both team and individual (free agent) registrations for all levels of play.
To keep competition evenly matched, FXA offers 2 different divisions (Casual & Competitive) for teams ranging in skill sets. All games are officiated by two (2) qualified and experienced referees, and played on regulation size dodgeball courts. After the games, our Sponsor Bar provides beer & food specials for teams to socialize and meet other players.

Their 12 locations are close to all field locations and will provide services which include taping, ice wraps, stretching, injury prevention and treatment.

Information about the Winter 2012 Dodgeball League

START DATE:
First week of January 2012 - End of February 2012
CAPTAIN'S MEETING:
TBD @ Carpool in Herndon, VA.
This is a Mandatory Meeting, so if the Team Captain is unable to attend, another representative from the team must be present.
SEASON KICK-OFF HAPPY HOUR:
To Be Determined @ Carpool Herndon from 6-9 p.m.
GAME DAYS:
Wednesday Nights
Thursday Nights
SEASON:
Each team will play 8 regular season contests
Each contest will consist of 15 (fifteen) 4-minute games.
Games times will range from 7:00pm – 11:00pm.
Playoffs will be held the week following the regular season.
The number of teams that make it to the playoffs will be determined by the FXA
COURT LOCATIONS: Dulles SportsPlex off Route 28
New Court in Chantilly, VA
FEES:
The charge will be $575 per team.
The charge for male individuals will be $55 and Female Individuals will be $45.
You must make payment at time of registration using PayPal.
NEW RULES: Each team shall field 8 players, 5 Males & 3 Females. Click on the Rules Tab for complete rulebook.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
The league fee includes 8 regular season contests (plus playoffs if you qualify), 1-2 experienced referees per court, iPod Game Music, and beer/food specials after the games!

AGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years or older to participate in Fairfax Athletics.
PLAYER WAIVER & RELEASE FORM
Before any player can participate in FXA, they must submit their online waiver. It is the responsibility of the Team Captain to make sure every player has completed this online waiver
FXA Registration fees are refundable only at the discretion of Fairfax Athletics.

Reasons to Join Fairfax Athletics Dodgeball League
CHEAPER TEAM / INDIVIDUAL FEES:
Our fees are much less expensive than other sport leagues.
INDIVIDUAL (FREE AGENT) REGISTRATION AVAILABLE:
We offer individual registraion for people new to the area or players that just want to meet some new friends.
LONGER SEASON:
You are guaranteed to play 8 games, and possibly 1-3 more if your team makes the playoffs (weather and field permitting).
CONVENIENT FIELD LOCATIONS & PARKING:
Field locations will be centrally located and have plenty of parking.
GAME MUSIC:
FXA will provide an IPOD Music System that will play music during the games. Teams are encouraged to plug in their own IPOD during their games.
QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCE REFEREES:
FXA will provide a Head Referee that understand the rules completely, and have years of dodgeball officiating experience.
FREE TEAM WEBSITE:
Every Team will have thier own Webpage to post pictures, rosters, player stats, games schedules, etc.
GAME CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION SYSTEM:
Players will be notified via email and text message when games are cancelled.
SOCIAL SPORTS LEAGUE:
There will be scheduled activities and parties throughout the season. EVERY MEMBER of FXA will be invited to participate, so you will meet people from the Flag Football, Soccer, Kickball, and Softball leagues. More details will follow throughour the season.
